Aashirwad channel is being launched by Ashirwad Tele Network Private Limited but the parent group behind the channel is Narayan Seva Sansthan ‘Trust’, a non profit charitable organization engaged in the service to the suffering humanity. The Sansthan is based at Udaipur Rajasthan and is having seven hospital buildings of 1000 bed capacity at Udaipur where polio and other physically challenged children are being operated free of cost.

Till date, Sansthan has operated more then 80000 disabled children and presently there is a waiting list of eighteen months for the children coming for OPD today.

Founder of the Sansthan is Dr. Kailash Manav who worked with department of Post and Telegraph as an Senior Accounts Officer. With his hard work and zeal Mr. Manav who always had a desire to do something for the have not of the country raised the organization to international heights where patients from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bahrain, UAE, U.K and Kazakhstan have been operated free of cost besides patients from all over India.

This Year Dr. Manav has been selected for Padma Shree award by Government of India. Earlier, He received best social worker award from Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in the year 2003 and award for best organization in the year 2000.

The Sansthan received blessings of Honorable President of India Mrs. Prathibha Patil, former President of India Dr Abdul Kalam, former Vice President of India and many dignitaries of all segments of society in person at Udaipur as well at various camps organized all over India.

The homilies of Dr. Manav are being telecasted by more than 14 TV channels and the main strength of the channel and the Sansthan is base of 2.5 lakh life members of Sansthan who are either donors or volunteers of the Sansthan. The Sansthan had benefited more then 5 lakh individuals by its various service activities and out of these nearly 1 lakh are of lower middle class families who are having TV sets at there homes. So there are 3 lakh TV viewing families dedicated to the Sansthan and most of them can go for the DTH / Cable Network service where channel of Sansthan Aashirwad will be telecasted.
